Every year EENA looks to it’s residents for suggestions as to what we can work to improve within our neighborhood. Many of our projects are made possible with Neighborhood Reinvestment Grant funding through the City of Boise. Once an idea comes to us, we work with the proper entities to see what amount of funding would be needed to complete the overall goal. Usually in August or September the EENA board votes as to what grants they would like to see pushed through and in what order. One of our board members submits the grant request at the beginning of November and then we patiently wait until spring to find out if we are awarded the funding.
These projects would not have happened if one of our residents hadn’t suggested it; these are your projects.
