St. Luke’s Illuminate the Night

St. Luke’s Illuminate the Night

Dear neighbors,

St. Luke’s would like to share information about an upcoming event that will take place on Monday, Feb. 14, 6:30-6:45 p.m. around the St. Luke’s Boise campus. The Illuminate the Night event is in its second year and is again being organized by Mrs. Idaho, Jayme Perryman. Similar to an event held in December, it will involve emergency response vehicles operating their vehicle lights to show the pediatric patients at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital that they are thought of and loved on Valentine’s Day.

Boise Police will provide an escort for the group of responder vehicles, which will circle the block of Jefferson, Ave. C, Bannock and Ave. B. Additionally, the organizer has received approval for vehicles to line the alley between this block for the brief event.

We anticipate that any impacts on traffic will be fairly minimal and brief – most notable, traffic may move a bit slower during the 15-minute event, and responder lights will be flashing in the night sky.

WHAT: Illuminate the Night — Treasure Valley first responders plan to brighten the Boise sky with emergency lights to let the youth in the St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital know they are loved on Valentine’s Day.

WHO: Boise Police, Fire, EMS and tow trucks – escort provided by Boise Police; event organized by Mrs. Treasure Valley, Jayme Perryman.

WHEN: Monday, Feb. 14, 6:30-6:45 p.m.

WHERE: St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center. Vehicles will drive in a loop around the block of Jefferson, Ave. C, Bannock and Ave. B.

We ask that you please share this information with your friends, teams and neighbors, and on neighborhood social media channels to help spread the word. We will plan to send a reminder message as the event date of Feb. 14 nears.

Please reach out with any questions you might have about this upcoming event to support St. Luke’s pediatric patients on Valentine’s Day.

Thank you,

Christine Myron
