Greenbelt Improvements Starting in May

Greenbelt Improvements Starting in May

My name is Bonnie Shelton and I’m emailing on behalf of Boise Parks and Recreation. We are planning a series of important Greenbelt improvement projects starting in May to replace aging, damaged asphalt. I’m reaching out to you and your respective NA members to notify you of this upcoming work and let you know that we will be communicating with residents over the next several weeks ahead of construction starting the first week of May (a schedule is still being finalized, but will be updated on our website). For more information on these projects https://www.cityofboise.org/departments/parks-and-recreation/parks/boise-greenbelt/greenbelt-replacement-projects-2021/

Postcards will soon be arriving in the mail to homeowners and businesses who live around these projects. The card outlines project information and asks anyone with questions to contact our department.

Please feel free to email us at bpr@cityofboise.org with any questions or call (208) 608-7600 to be connected with a project manager.

We understand these projects cause closures during a busy time of year, but please know the work is being completed to improve user experience and promote longevity of this important pathway for years to come. With temperatures warming up and more consistent weather, this is the best time for contractors to complete the work efficiently.

Thank you for your time and I appreciate your help sharing information about this work!

Take care,

Bonnie Shelton
