It’s going to be a very busy but fun weekend downtown, so be sure to plan accordingly.
Below are the big events happening downtown this weekend with details on how they will impact Downtown Boise and the expected attendance.

Road to X Games: Park Qualifier at Rhodes Skate Park, Friday andSaturday, June 15 & 16
Click here for event details. The following road closures begin tonight:
Tuesday, July 12 from 6:30 pm until Sunday afternoon:
S. 15th Street – Closed from W. River Street to W. Grove Street.
W. Grand Avenue – Closed between S. 14th Street and S. 15th Street.
S. 16th Street and S. American Blvd – Closed between W. Grove Street and W. River Street.
W. Front Street – Closed between S. 14th Street and S. 16th Street.
Friday and Saturday there will also be lane closures/shoulder closures on the I-184 connector inbound and outbound.
Estimated Attendance: 8,000-10,000 people
Harley-Davidson Hooligan Race at CenturyLink Arena, Friday, June 15
Click here for event details. This is a ticketed event. Below are traffic impacts:
Friday from 12pm to 10pm – Drivers will experience intermittent traffic interruptions on Capitol Blvd. at Front Street as participants enter CenturyLink Arena from Grove St.
**Drivers are urged to avoid Capitol Blvd during this time.
Friday from 7am to 10pm -Race participants will be staged on Grove St. which will be closed from Capitol to 6th St. (the Basque Block)
Boise Pridefest, Friday and Saturday, June 15 & 16

Friday 9am to Sunday 12am
Boise Pridefest will be held in Cecil D. Andrus Park (previously Capitol Park). Roads around the park will be closed for this event, including:
W. Jefferson St. – Closed from 6th Street to 8th Street.
W. Bannock St. – Closed from 6th to N. Capitol Blvd.
N. Capitol Blvd – Closed from Bannock to W. Jefferson.
Saturday 8:30am to 11:30am
Traffic restrictions will be in place for roads one block around the parade route. The parade runs from N. 6th Street down W. Bannock Street to 12th Street, over to W. Jefferson Street, up to N. 6th Street and back to W. Bannock St.
Estimated Attendance: 25,000 people
Downtown Boise Father’s Day Car Show, Sunday, June 17

Location: 8th Street between Bannock and Main Streets & Bannock and Idaho Streets between Capitol Blvd and 9th in Downtown Boise
“No Parking” signs for the Sunday event will be placed on Saturday. Streets noted above will be closed early Sunday morning and will reopen by 4:30pm Sunday.
Estimated Attendance: 5,000 people
|Saturday Markets Downtown Boise Don’t forget both the Boise Farmers Market and the Capital City Public Market will take place in their normal footprints and times on Saturday.|
