Roundaboout Update

Roundaboout Update

A couple of updates from the ACHD. St. Luke’s, and EENA meeting yesterday.  Reserve will be partially opening on Sunday.  The actual roundabout will be fully functioning, however the new lane, which currently is the northbound lane from Ave B going to Fort St. is not wide enough to accommodate both northbound and southbound traffic. In theory this is how they propose for it to work.  Northbound traffic will use the roundabout while southbound traffic will use the old road for 1-2 weeks while they widen the new road to accommodate both lanes.  You will be able to drive on Reserve if you are coming from the south, headed North.  Coming off of Reserve will be a right only.  EENA has been told that the Fire Dept and dispatch both know about this change and have approved.    Once the lane is widened, both directions will be on the roundabout then and hopefully within the next two weeks.
The opening is scheduled for Sunday night at 8pm.
If you have any questions or concerns please email EENA at boiseeena@gmail.com
